Kay Snyder Nail, 81, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away peacefully at Village Care of King on Thursday, February 22, 2024, with her family by her side.
Kay was born on May 24, 1942, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late James and Margaret Baugass Snyder. She retired from R.J. Reynolds after thirty-five years of faithful service. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Rural Hall, where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a member of the Pinnacle Ruritan Club and Pinnacle Garden Club. She was instrumental in the start-up of King Little League Softball and was active in the King Dolphin program.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Leland Nail; a daughter, Sandy Rhodes, and husband Ray; a son, Keith Nail, and wife Lindsey; four grandchildren: Taylor Rhodes and fiancé Taylor Perkins, Sidney Rhodes, Logan Brown, and husband Evan, and Brendan Nail and wife Erin; along with two great-grandchildren: Heidi Brown and Molly Brown.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Slate Funeral Home in King, NC.
A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Forsyth Memorial Park, with Rev. Andrew Southern and Rev. Pat Dixon officiating.
