Kevin Wiley Webster

Kevin Wiley Webster, 47, of King, NC passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Wake Forest Baptist Health.

Kevin was born on January 29, 1976, in Forsyth County, NC, to Billy Gray Webster, Sr. and Elaine McKnight Martin. He was a member of Jefferson Christian Church and was part of the Quaker Gap Baptist Men’s Firewood Ministry. Kevin was a loving son and brother.

Kevin was an avid outdoorsman, he loved animals, and he raised rabbits and chickens. He enjoyed landscaping, farmwork and gardening. He was a metal artist and woodworker, and a very good cook. He was an avid John Deere fan and collector. Kevin was a caregiver for his friend, Jamie Boles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aubrey and Ella Webster, and Wiley and Mary McKnight.

Left to cherish his memory is his father, Billy Gray Webster, Sr.; his mother, Elaine McKnight Martin; a brother, Gray Webster (Tammie); his stepfather, Ken Martin; his stepsister, Traci Martin Royal (Brad); a close friend, Jamie Boles; and his special aunts and uncles: Treva Kirby, Earlene Newsom, Frances Brown, Dot Dot and Donnie Scott; along with several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Slate Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Quaker Gap Baptist Church with Dr. Jack Darida officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family wishes to extend a grateful appreciation to the cardiac care units and Forsyth Medical Center and Wake Forest Baptist Health.
