Larry Kent Pyrtle

Larry Kent Pyrtle, 66, of Pilot Mountain, NC, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem. 

Mr. Pyrtle was born on November 28, 1955, in Forsyth County, NC to the late Thomas and Sadie McKinney Pyrtle. He was a site foreman for Kenneth Spainhour grading for many years.  He loved riding his motorcycle.  He was also an avid drag racing and muscle car enthusiast.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Pyrtle.

Left to cherish his memory is his son: Gregory Pyrtle (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Avery Pyrtle, and Kayci Pyrtle; a special friend, Debbie Kiger; along with nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Slate Funeral Home, 132 E. Dalton Rd. King, NC 27021.
