Larry Jackson West

Larry Jackson West, 78, of Pinnacle, NC passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.

Larry was born on March 30, 1944, in Sampson County, NC, to the late Roy Jackson and Evelyn Owen West.  He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed gardening.  He was a beloved father, husband and Papa, his love for his family was immeasurable. Larry was of the Baptist faith.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rita Lynch West; a daughter, Apriel West Cain (Brian); his son, Aaron West (Raeann); a brother, James West; three sisters: Edna Barker, Marie Martin, and Judy Rimel (Harry); four grandchildren: Lindsay Elliott, Annah Mabe (Garrett), Hudson West, and Boone West, along with several nieces, nephews, and close friends whom he loved.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Harmony Baptist Church: 1357 Harmony Church Rd. Clinton, NC, with Rev. Jim Owen officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
