Laura Phillips Obituary

King – Laura Elizabeth Phillips, 69, of King, NC passed away Friday, April 22, 2022, at Kate B. Reynold Hospice House in Winston-Salem, NC.

Ms. Phillips was born on October 15, 1952, to the late Roy and Thelma Lewis Hardy. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in King.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jimmy Phillips, five brothers: Jimmy Hardy, Roy Hardy, Roy “Pete” Hardy, Jr., Roy Hardy, Jr., and Billy Lewis; and three sisters: Stella Tackett, Judy Edwards, and Dorothy Lewis.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sandra Phillips, her son, David Phillips, a sister, Ann Williams, and husband Raymond, and two grandchildren: Preston Long, and Samantha Long.

The family wishes to extend a special “thank you” to Trellis Supportive Care.

There will be a private funeral service held for Ms. Phillips.
