Letty Alene (Pack) Edwards

Mrs. Letty Alene Pack Edwards, age 71, 601 Holly Grove Rd. Lambsburg, VA, passed away on July 6, 2024, at her home.

Mrs. Edwards was born on April 6, 1953, in Surry County to the late Fred and Essie Lambert Pack.  

Surviving are her husband, Bruce Edwards, of the home, and two daughters, Lorine Cromer and Michelle and Freddie Bond. Honorary children: Rebecca Ring, Lynn Morris, Anna Marshall, and Jeremiah Edwards. She was a second mother to many, many nieces and nephews. Grandchildren: Tammy and Matthew Austin, Morgan Galyean and Brandi Grimes, Amber Bond, Megan and Tanner Dickerson, Fredrick and Cassie Bond, Amber Robertson and Zachary Austin. She was a fill-in grandmother for everyone. Great Grandchildren: Maddox, Cora, Vivian Austin, Beau and Evelyn Dickerson, Courtney, Dakota and Connor Bond, Ophelia Austin. Sisters and brothers-in-law Sylvia and Junior Gwyn of Mt. Airy, Joann and Wayne Jones of Mt. Airy, and a brother and sister-in-law Leon and Jean Pack of Pinnacle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven sisters and one brother.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Lambsburg, VA, with funeral services beginning at 4:00 PM with Elder Rodney Marshall officiating. Interment will follow in the Edwards family cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chestnut Grove Primitive Baptist Church in care of Leona Childress: 205 Fowler Cir. Dobson, NC 27017.
