Lori Joyce McGhinnis-Priddy

King – Lori Joyce McGhinnis-Priddy, 49, of King, NC passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at her home.

Lori was born on March 7, 1972, in Burke County, NC to the late Hal and Lillian Adams McGhinnis.  She was raised by “Daddy” Mack and “Mama” Mildred Butner.  Lori was an avid crafter, making jewelry and decorative pictures. 

Lori graduated from Forsyth Technical College with an Associates in Science Degree, and an associate degree in Medical Assisting.  She was employed at Digestive Health as a Certified Medical Assistant. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Keith.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jimmie Priddy, and a sister and brother, Michelle, and Bruce. 

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Slate Funeral Home, King, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The American Cancer Society.
