King – Louise Elizabeth Collins Duggins, 91, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Clemmons Medical Center.
Mrs. Duggins was born June 21, 1930, in Stokes County to the late Rev. Grady and Elsie Culler Collins. She was a charter member of King Community Church. She loved music, and singing with her family, the Glory Land Singers, and the Collins Family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Duggins, her brother, Glen Collins, and her sister, Sally Collins Mason.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Rikki Ashburn and husband Craig, a sister, Beulah Spainhour, and six nieces and nephews.
Those wishing to pay their respects to Mrs. Duggins prior to the service may do so on Saturday, September 18, 2021, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM, at Slate Funeral Home. No family will be present due to health risk.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at King Community Church Cemetery, with Rev. Derrick Hinson, Sr. officiating. The family request that face coverings and social distancing be practiced at the services.
