Manuel Gonzales Valenzuela

Manuel Gonzales Valenzuela, 83, of King, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at his home.

Mr. Valenzuela was born in San Antonio, TX, on May 14, 1941. He was raised by his loving grandmother, Sista Ochoa Valenzuela. He proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He attended Bible Holiness Church in Mt. Airy, NC.

Manuel's memory will forever be cherished by his beloved wife, Charlotte Effler Valenzuela; a daughter, Sista Richardson (Tyler); a son, Jerry Valenzuela (Teresa); his sisters Lilly Aguilar and Virginia Diaz; grandchildren, Fletcher and Whitten Richardson; and his aunts: Tanna Nerio, and Tacha Campos. His love and wisdom will continue to guide them.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Slate Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Bass officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bible Holiness Church.
