Margaret Booze Salley, of King, NC passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2022, in Yadkinville, NC.
Margaret was born on January 15, 1935, to the late Shelton Lee and Ella Pandora Hargrove Booze. She was retired from Hanes Brands and was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Margaret was a loving, and giving wife, mother, sister, daughter, and grandmother.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of sixty-eight years, Royce Salley; her daughter, Renee Salley McDade; her son, Lee Salley and wife Raquel; two brothers: Richard Booze and wife Barbara, and Gene Booze and wife Debbie; a sister, Brenda Kiser and husband David; four grandchildren: Patrick McDade, Adam McDade, Logan Salley, and Olivia Salley; three step-grandchildren: Estivaliz Vazquez, Alejandra Vazquez and husband Danny, and Julio Vazquez and fiancé Pamela; along with her five step-great grandchildren: Luna Hernandez, Adriana Hernandez, Fabio Vazquez, Brock Vazquez, and Malia Vazquez.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 1:00 Pm until 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Slate Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM with Lee Salley officiating.
