Margie (Burgess) Lawrence

Margie Burgess Lawrence, 83, of King, NC passed away on Saturday July 17, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.

Born in Orange County, NC she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Hubert and Thelma Wills Hicks Burgess and the widow of the late Wayne J. Lawrence. She was a member of the Poplar Springs Christian Church in King, NC.

Besides her parents and husband, Margie was preceded in death by her sisters; Doris Chamblee and Elizabeth Green and brothers Lonnie (Dick) Burgess and Steve Hicks.

Left to cherish her memory is her brother Pete Burgess and wife Teresa.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday July 19, 2022, in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall, NC.
