Mary Lou Barbara Holt

Mary Lou Barbara Holt, 78, of King, NC, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the home of her sister Betty.

Mary was born in Patrick County, VA, on July 3, 1946, to the late Jesse and Lelia Pearl Holt. She retired from Pilot Hosiery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John Holt, Tom Holt, Shirley Holt, and Junior Goins.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Betty Holt Collins and Peggy Goins Slate, and husband Sammy; a special nephew, Paul Ray Collins; and several special cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 25, 2024, at Brown Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Eddie Carter officiating.
