Magdalene Yarboro Horton (Maggie), 91, of King, North Carolina passed away at her home on the morning of October 16, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Maggie lived a blessed life as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born in Wilkes County to the late Ossie & Roxie Jolly Yarboro. She later moved to Forsyth County. Maggie retired from Hanes Hosiery in 1990. During her spare time, she loved to attend her church and love on her dog, Bitsy.

Other than her parents Maggie was preceded in death by her daughter, Gloria Grimes, her granddaughter, Letishia Davis, a sister, Vanice Kennedy, a sister, Lula Mae Johnson, and a brother, Rev. Jerry Yarboro.

Left to cherish her memory are her three great-grandchildren: Chasady Davis 28 of the home, Christy Davis 27 of Lewisville, Jacob McBride 11 of the home, brother, Jimmy (Carol) Yarboro of Texas, sister in law, Judy Yarboro and several nieces and nephews.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone who knew and loved her as well as those she has touched but never met.
