Obituary
Mary Linda Kasson, 80, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away Friday, February 24, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House surrounded by her loved ones.
Mary was born on June 5, 1942, in Lenoir County, NC to the late Horace K. and Lizzie Harper Lee. Mary loved crafting and gardening, and she cherished being a grandmother.
In addition to her parents Horace and Lizzie, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Horace Kleber Lee, Jr., and Henry Harvey Lee.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Kenneth Frank Gaddy (Jami), Justin Neal Kasson (Kim), and Jason Judd Kasson; her daughter, Elizabeth Leigh Dragone (Eric), a brother, Nelson Lee; six grandchildren: Nicole Leigh Laffredo (Paul), Kenneth Aaron Gaddy, Ashley Linn Gaddy, Erica Leigh Taylor (Zack), Cohle Johnathon Dragone, and Johnny Kasson; six great-grandchildren: Cyress Ratterree, Jaylan Ratterree, Dawson Ratterree, Zacharias Kenneth Charles Gaddy, Elijah Aaron Taylor, and Emma Grace Taylor; along with a great-grandchild, Emery Kate Taylor that is on the way.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be shared as soon as the details are available.
