Melva (Cook) Williams

Melva Cook Williams, 64, of King, NC, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2026, she was a wonderful wife, mama, and Nana.

Melva was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin H. Cook and Jean Cook Hartgrove, and her son, Andy Blackburn.

Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband of 31 years, Randy Williams, her sons, Mason Tyler Blackburn, Eric Williams, and Tony Williams, her grandchildren: Dakota, Dylan, Alyssa, and Chase Williams, and her great-grandchildren: Electra, Maizie, and Marilyn.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Slate Funeral Home with a memorial service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
