Michael "Mike" Parks

Michael “Mike” Wayne  Parks, 67, of Tobaccoville passed away on June 9, 2023 at Willow Valley Nursing and Rehab in Winston Salem.  He was the son of the late Marshall Parks and Edna Hester Tibbs.  Mike was the founder of King Towing .  He is survived by his son, Michael Parks; daughter, Michelle Lane; grandchildren, Isaiah Parks, Eli Parks and Cheyenne Lane; brothers, Kenneth Parks, Charles Parks and a sister Linda Jo Stanley.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shelby Elizabeth Parks and sisters, Debbie Buchanan and Pattie Tibbs Harris.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday June 13, 2023 from 5pm-7pm at Slate Funeral Home in King.  A private family burial will be held at a later date.
