It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Nancy Flynt, a cherished member of our family, who left us peacefully on July 16th, 2025.
Nancy Flynt of Winston-Salem passed away on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice & Palliative Care Center. A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor her memory. Mrs. Flynt worked for many years at the Boman Gray School of Medicine in the Department of Clinics Pain Control Department. She was born May 1st, 1938, in Forsyth County to Thomas Roy Williams Sr. and Lillian Emma Chilton Williams as their first child. She was a Sunday school teacher and an avid member of Cedar Dale Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by both parents, her brother, Thomas Roy Williams Jr, and her husband, Joe Crews Flynt. Nancy is survived by her sister, Linda Kay Wood (Wayne) of Lexington, NC, and her nephew, Christopher Wall (Elizabeth) of King, NC.
