Noel Lee Young, Jr.

Noel Lee Young, Jr.” Pole”, 39, of Tobaccoville, NC passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 7, 2022, at his home. 

Noel, fondly known by his CB handle Pole, was born on April 27, 1983, in Stokes County, NC to Noel Lee Young, Sr. and Wanda Asbury Denny.  He was a beloved father, son, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend.

Noel was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Giles and Bernice Asbury, and his paternal grandfather, Leon Young.

Left to cherish his memory is his father, Noel Lee Young, Sr (Karen); his mother, Wanda Asbury Denny (Ronnie); two sons: Noel Lee Young, III, Leon Guage Young; his daughter, Mikinzie Young; a sister, Brandy Young Lawson (Matthew); two nephews: Ayden Lawson, and Levi Lewis; two nieces: Canvas Rogers, and Shailey Bodenhamer; his paternal grandmother, Betty Martin Young; along with the loving mother of his children, Lindsay Spainhour; his best friend, John Hamby and his special companion, Tank.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm, on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Slate Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Slate Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Estes officiating. Interment will follow at Pinnacle United Methodist Church.
