Norma Jean Fulp Burrow went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 4, 2025, at Life Brite Community Hospital/ Stokes County Nursing Home.
She was born on November 3, 1930, to the late Walter and Mae Fulp. She attended Germanton High School. She was a homemaker all her life and attended Central Tabernacle Church as long as her health permitted. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Raiford Maurice Burrow, and her great-grandson, Nathaniel Waters.
Surviving is her children Marilyn Venable, Annette Cline (Robert) and Olyn Burrow (Pamela), grandchildren; Michael Venable (Shanin), Kristie Waters (Jamie), T.J. Heath, Joshua Heath (Bethany) and Heather Burrow (Carl Schweppe), great grandchildren, Michah Venable (Carrie), Autumn Waters, Matthew Waters, and Colby Heath, great grandson; Greyson Venable.
On Monday, December 8, 2025, the family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 11:45 am at Slate Funeral Home Chapel in King with a funeral service to follow. Interment will immediately follow the service at the Haw Pond Church of Christ in Germanton, NC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the craftsmen for Christ ministry through Freedom Baptist Church in Rural Hall. We, the family, would like to thank all the nurses and staff, and Dr. Kirk Sanders at Life Brite Community Hospital and Stokes County Nursing Home, for the loving care they gave Mama. She loved each and every one of them dearly. Also, thank you to her roommate, Mrs. Charlotte Wiles, for being such a special friend and watching over her.
