Odessa (Duggins) Hamm

Odessa Duggins Hamm, 93 of King, NC passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC.

Mrs. Hamm was born in Stokes County, NC on April 25, 1930, to the late James and Elizabeth Wall Duggins. She retired from RJ Reynolds. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church where she proudly obtained thirty years of perfect attendance in Sunday School. She enjoyed quilting and gardening.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ted Hamm.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Michelle Newsome and husband Kevin, and her granddaughter, Nicole Newsome.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Mount Olive Cemetery with Rev. Eric Hardman officiating.
