Osie (Bowman) Moser

King, NC – Osie Bowman Moser, 93, of King, NC, passed peacefully away Saturday, July 2, 2022, after a brief illness.

Osie was born June 13, 1929, in Stokes Co., NC to the late Jethro and Rosella Bowman. She was a long-time member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. Osie lived a quiet life with the man she loved, caring for her home and family. She had a servant’s heart and always put the needs of others above her own. Osie enjoyed a full life, rich in faith and abundantly blessed with love, joy, and laughter - these she generously shared with her dear friends and loved ones.

In addition to her parents, Osie is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Ralph McCoy Moser, a daughter Sandra Faye Moser, and five brothers: T.B., Paul, Junior, Earl, and Dennis Bowman.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Deborah Moser Mabe and husband Tim, her son, Ronnie Moser and wife Melanie, four grandchildren: Jonathan Beck and wife Ashley, Joey Beck and wife Leigh Arden, Morgan Adams and husband Ricky and Amber Hairford and husband Tanner, eight great-grandchildren, one sister Patricia James, two sisters-in-law, Janie Bowman and Polly Parizek and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, 5413 NC 66 Hwy. S. King, NC, with Pastor Donald Davis officiating. The family will receive friends and loved ones following the service in the church fellowship building.
