Pamela Ann (Hicks) Johnson

Pamela Ann Hicks Johnson, 75, of Westfield, NC, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at her home surrounded by those she dearly loved.

Mrs. Johnson was born on June 11, 1949, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Raleigh and Connie Durham Hicks. She was the widow of the late Hiram Leland Johnson. She was a homemaker who took great pride in loving and caring for her family. She was a beloved Mama and Nanny.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Buster Hicks, and three sisters, Willa Mae Burton, Martha Cox, and Betty Orth.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lisa Johnson (Ronald Shelton); a brother, Larry Hicks (Diane); four grandchildren: Lakin Shelton, Austin Shelton, Kloey Coe, and Tristen Coe, two great-grandchildren: Kimber Shelton and Kailani Rose; along with several nieces, nephews and other beloved family members.

The family wishes to express special thanks to Mountain Valley Hospice, Palliative Care, and Mountain View Medical.

There will be a private family interment with a Celebration of Life being held at a later date.
