Pamela Dianne Henderson Updike, 52, of Walkertown, passed away on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Forsyth Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Pamela was born on January 24, 1973, in Richmond, IN, to Ronald and Nancy Henderson. She was an Accountant at Quality Oil and attended Poplar Springs Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing projects and doing a variety of crafts with her daughter, Erin.
Pam was preceded in death by her grandparents and her aunt Donna Snyder, with whom she was very close.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Kyle, and her daughter Erin; her parents, Ronald and Nancy Henderson; two sisters, Christine Sexton (Chris) and Mindy Goins (Louis); her nephews, Andrew Sexton and Joseph Goins (Sarah), Dalton Goins, and Dillon Goins; her great-nephew, Roman Goins; her great-niece, Delilah Goins; her Uncle Herby Rodgers (Susan) and Aunt Laurel Tromblay; her sisters-in-law, Vonda Anthony (Bruce), Venetta Powers (Terry), and Yvette Kidd (Dale); several other nieces and nephews; and close friends, Lisa Dodson; and her neighbor, Jan Ruff.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Poplar Springs Christian Church. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Minister Griffin Gilstrap officiating. Pamela will later be laid to rest in Dublin, IN.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial donations may be made to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk through the American Breast Cancer Society to the "Pamela's Army" team. This is something that she was very passionate about, and she would appreciate any support given to her cause.
