Rhonda (Lundquist) Wright

Rhonda Lunsford Wright, 51, of Rural Hall, NC, passed away unexpectedly at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, with her beloved family by her side.

Rhonda was born in Forsyth County, NC, on September 28, 1974, to the late Ronald Lee and Judy Ann Cox Lunsford. She was a loving, caring person who took great care of her family. She had a big heart and was quick to forgive. She had a great sense of humor and always made everyone laugh. Rhonda loved to cook and was renowned for her spaghetti (she always made two batches to suit everyone’s tastes) and her delicious Cherry Yum Yum. She loved spending time with her family and making TikTok videos with her daughter.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 11 years, Kevin Wright, her daughter, Melissa Ann Wright, her son, Anothony Ronald Lunsford and several nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Melissa Ann Casey.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Slate Funeral Home in King. The funeral service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
