Winston-Salem – Ricky Charles Lawson, 74, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Citadel at Winston.

Mr. Lawson was born on October 20, 1947, to the late Charlie Moses and Katherine Holt Lawson. Mr. Lawson farmed most of his life.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Becky S. Lawson (Chris McCraw); his son, Charles Ray Lawson (Carla Shinault); his sister, Brenda Harkey; two brothers: Billy Lawson and Johnny Lawson (Janie Peacock); three grandchildren: Amber Lawson, Aaron Lawson, and Logan Sawyers; along with a great granddaughter, Kaelynn Lawson; and several nieces and nephews.

A private burial will take place at a later date.
