Riley Catherine Lupinacci

Riley Catherine Lupinacci, 3, of Walkertown, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Riley was born on October 22, 2020, in Stony Brook, NY, the daughter of Kaila English Lupinacci and Scott Lupinacci. Her sisters Juliana and Maggie were her life; she was a bright, sweet, and independent little girl who loved Paw Patrol, unicorns, and making people happy. She meant the world to everyone who knew her, and everyone who met her loved her. She was the sunshine of her family’s world. Her father called her “little duck.” Her best friend was her sister Maggie, affectionately called “Naggie” or “Naggs” by Riley.

Riley was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandmother, Shirley Redman; her maternal grandmothers, Lisa Collins, and Maggie Goad; her maternal grandfather, Allen English; and her paternal great-grandfather, James H. Redman.

Left to cherish her memory are her father, Scott Lupinacci; mother, Kaila Lupinacci (Blake Comalander); her sisters, Juliana Lupinacci and Maggie Lupinacci; paternal grandmother, Mary Lupinacci; maternal grandparents, Mike and Sharon Tilley; paternal grandfather, Edward Lupinacci; maternal aunt, Ashley Tilley (Alex); maternal uncles: Jeremiah Collins, and Aaron Collins (Callie Koeval); paternal aunts: Jennifer Lupinacci, and Christine Clifford (Curt Williams); cousins: Zoe, Silas, Averie, Bethany, Taylor, David, Nikki, Angelina, and Emma; her “Mimi” Susan Atkins, and her stepbrother, Noah Comalander.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 11:00 until 12:00 on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Slate Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 pm, with Rev. Joe Musten officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park, Rural Hall, NC.
