Ronnie Dean Marshall

Ronnie Dean Marshall Sr, 70, of King, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Universal Healthcare of King.

Mr. Marshall was born on September 20, 1951, to the late Raymond Decoster Marshall and Ardythe Reynolds Marshall. He was a former machine operator at the Industries for the Blind. He was also involved with the Lions Club, loved to sing, and loved to do woodwork. He was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Marshall was preceded in death by his wife, Nicole Marshall; a son, Ronnie Marshall Jr; a grandchild, Zachary Marshall; two brothers, Donald Grey Marshall, and Raymond Allen Marshall; and a sister, Brenda Kay Marshall.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Sherry (Maurice) Weller; three grandchildren, Theresa Cannon, Deanna Darrah, and Steven Darrah; two great-grandchildren, Xander Taylor, and Phoenix Taylor; three sisters, Judy (Alvie) Mullins, Janice Edwards, and Becky Clinard; four brothers, Jerry (Peggy) Marshall, Stephen (Dawn) Marshall, Larry (Debbie) Marshall, and Rev. Barry (Debbie) Marshall; caretaker, Brenda Fletcher and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Slate Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at Slate Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory: 5676 Old Walkertown Rd, Walkertown, NC.
