Rosemarie Heidi (Buck) Nelson

Rosemarie Heidi Buck Nelson, 85, of Pinnacle, passed away peacefully at Woltz Hospice House in Dobson, NC, on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Ms. Nelson was born on September 9, 1940, in Karlsruhe, Germany. She became an LPN and worked in the medical field until her retirement. She had a great sense of humor that kept everyone on their toes. She was a member of New Apostolic Church in Charlotte, NC.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hedwig Buck. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tina Durland (Jurgen), Valeria Maurer (Jimmy Asbury), Calvin Nelson, Jr. (Joey Bottoms), and Tunija Page; her grandchildren, Michael Maurer, Jr. (Carly), Brian Maurer, Kota Paige, and Benjamin Paige; her great-grandchildren, Madison Maurer, Jonmichael Maurer, Hunter Maurer, and Paislee Maurer; a special friend, Jackie Askey; and her extended family in Germany.

At Ms. Nelson's request, no formal services will be held.
