Sharon Sue (Jarnagin) Jenkins

Sharon Sue Jarnagin Jenkins, 67, of King, NC passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Ms. Jenkins was born on February 4, 1955, in Davidson County, NC to the late Roy Edward and Geneva Wright Jarnagin.  Sharon loved her Wake Forest Deacons, enjoyed flower gardening, and dearly loved her family. She loved decorating for the holidays and found great joy in making people laugh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gene Jenkins.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Valerie Chandler (Jeff), and Amy Jackson (Jerry); her brother, Eddie Jarnagin; four grandchildren: Cameron Chandler (Rylie), Brenden Chandler, Emily Jackson, and Chase Jackson, along with several nieces, nephews, friends, and her lifelong friend, Wayne Buchanan.

The family will receive friends and loved ones, from 1:30 pm until 3:00 pm, on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at King Moravian Church. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm, with Rev. Doug Rights officiating.
