Shirley Vienna Reeves

Pinnacle, NC – Shirley Vienna Reeves, 70, of Pinnacle, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Wake Forest Baptist Health Medical Center.

Ms. Reeves was born on February 10, 1951, in Wayne County, NY to the late Nelson and Mary Vienna. She was retired from Springville Griffith Institute School District, as a Special Education Teaching Assistant. She loved spending time with her granddaughter, Raven, going to garage sales, antiquing, painting, sewing, cooking, and baking, and she saw the beauty in all things - big or small.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Sarah M. Wierzba and husband Gerald; her son, Christopher A. Reeves; her brother, Bernard Vienna, and wife Brenda; a sister, Joan Vienna-Cox and husband Bob; three grandchildren: Raven Wierzba, Caitlin Reeves, and Collin Reeves; two nephews: Patrick and Robert Kolb; and a niece Jeanette Morgan  

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Slate Funeral Home, with Pastor Gerald Jones officiating.
