Susan Marie (Morris) Naron

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Marie Naron. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Susan was born on March 10, 1948, in Bastrop, Louisiana to the late William and Evelyn Morris, and departed this world on March 7, 2025, as a cherished member of the Pinnacle, NC community.

                Susan graduated from college with a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She dedicated her life’s work to the healthcare industry as a registered nurse, exemplifying compassion and commitment to those in her care. Her nurturing spirit and relentless dedication made a lasting impact on countless lives, and she will be remembered as a guiding light to her patients and colleagues alike.

                When Susan was not caring for those around her, she cherished the beach, being outdoors, and always being on the move. Her family trips were always filled with laughter and memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Susan loved the slow pace of life, always making time to savor the moments and appreciate the little things. Whether it was enjoying a quiet day at home, watching a classic film, or simply being surrounded by loved ones, she found joy in life’s most tranquil pleasures. Susan’s warmth, kindness, and infectious smile will be deeply missed.

                Susan is survived by her loving sons, Jeffrey Naron and Scott Naron, her devoted daughter, Jana Naron-Stewart, and six grandchildren. Preceded in death are her husband Clyde Naron, and her two sons, John Naron and Jace Naron. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to service that will continue to inspire her family and friends.

                To honor Susan's life, a graveside service will be held at the Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery on March 12, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Joey Lanes officiating.  Family and friends are invited to gather as we pay tribute to a remarkable life lived with purpose and grace. Susan will be laid to rest, surrounded by the beauty of nature, where she can forever remain close to those who loved her.

                In acknowledging the loss of Susan, we celebrate her journey and the indelible mark she leaves on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
