Swanson Gordon Obituary

King- Swanson Edward Gordon, 86, of King, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Gordon was born on April 27, 1934, in Stokes County, NC to the late Luther Nixon Gordon and Etta (Gillispie) Gordon. He was a member of Jefferson Christian Church where he loved attending church every Sunday. Mr. Gordon was an avid hunter and loved fishing and the outdoors. He was a loving father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gordon was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Taylor, and Betty Stewart, as well as his brother Eugene Gordon.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 64 years, Mitzie Caudle Gordon, his daughter Lisa Gordon Bullin (Clifford), and his grandchildren Maggie Bullins (Teddy), Samantha Hatley (Nathan), and Ethan Bullin.

At Mr. Gordon’s request, there will be no service.
