Teddy Gene "Ted" Hamm

Teddy Gene “Ted” Hamm,87, of King, NC passed away on Tuesday August 8, 2023, in the Kate B. Reynolds hospice home.

Born the son of the late Mack gray and Mabel Gunner Hamm. Mr. Hamm was the husband of Odessa Duggins Hamm he was a retired inspector from the North Carolina Department of Transportation. Ted was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church where he was proud to have 30 years of perfect attendance in Sunday School, Ted also had a passion for penmanship and loved to write.

Left to cherish his memory, besides his wife, is his daughter; Michelle Hamm Newsome and husband Kevin and granddaughter; Nicole Newsome.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Mount Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Olive Cemetery.
