Thomas "Tom" Eugene Beck

Tobaccoville – Thomas “Tom” Eugene Beck, 76, of Tobaccoville, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House surrounded by his loved ones.

Mr. Beck was born on September 1, 1945, in Forsyth County, NC.  He was a member of Poplar Springs Christian Church in King, NC.  He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed coaching the SCYBL, and King Little League softball.

Mr. Beck was preceded in death by his parents, and a half-brother, B.J. Dickey.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Patricia Palmer Beck; a daughter, Tracy Beck Miller (Mitchell); a son, Casey Eugene Beck; a half-brother, C.J. Castevens; and three grandchildren: Morgan Mitchell Miller, Bryce Jacob Beck, and Abby Grace Beck; along with his fur baby, Gypsy Rose.

The family wishes to give a special thanks to Tom’s sister-in-law, Carolisa Palmer for all of her help and special care during his sickness.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Poplar Springs Christian Church.  A memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary, with Minister Don Wallace and Minister Ralph Sproles officiating.
