Tommy Ray Sluss, 68, of Trinity, NC, originally from Bluefield, WV, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, High Point.
Tommy was born on September 15, 1957, in Bluefield, West Virginia, to the late Jimmie Eldon Sluss and Sadie Kathleen Mitchem Sluss, who is still living. He had a passion for working on vintage cars, showcasing his creative and mechanical talents. While he deeply loved his family, he valued his privacy and enjoyed introspective moments. Tommy was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his father, Jimmie, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Sluss, his brothers John, Jimmie, and Teddy Sluss; a nephew, Jeremy Sluss; and a niece, Stephanie Quesenberry Cruz.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Sadie Katherine Mitchum Sluss; his sisters, Sherry Wimmer, Jackie Sluss, and Margie Smith; and three nephews, Jamie Sluss and wife Faye, George Quesenberry, and Brandon Smith.
