Vicki Ann Spainhour Warren, 69, of King, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 21, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Warren was born on May 30, 1955, in Forsyth County, NC, to the late Oscar Branson and Vallie Warden Spainhour. She was a faithful member of Jefferson Christian Church, part owner of Oinkin’ & Cluckin’ BBQ, and retired as a store clerk at Friends Mart. She was a loving and caring mother and wife; she deeply loved her precious grandboys, who kept her entertained.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Brenda Custer, and Becky Belcher.
Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 53 years, Mike Warren, her son, Michael Warren (MeFonda), her daughter, Amanda Collins (Joshua), and her grandchildren, Christopher Warren and Luke Collins.
The family wishes to thank Kernersville Medical Center ICU, Intermediate Care, and Trellis Supportive Care, especially Ashley, Jessica, Savanna, and Debra.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at Slate Funeral Home on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2025, at Slate Funeral Home, with Minister Harry Sammons officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Crestview Memorial Park.
