Violet M (Gardner) Stafford

Pfafftown – Violet Gardner Stafford, 87, of Pfafftown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 12:15 PM, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House. 

Mrs. Stafford was born on August 17, 1933, in Forsyth County, NC to the late John William and Betty Jane McCraw Gardner.  She was the widow of Jasper Thomas Stafford. She was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers: John Gardner, Leo Gardner, and Eugene Gardner; and her sister, Bessie Gardner.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Jackie Lindsay and husband Phillip of Winston-Salem, her son, Gregory B. Stafford of Winston-Salem, and her sister, Irene Sands of Germanton.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery, 6816 Doral Dr. Tobaccoville, NC, with Pastor Derrick Henson officiating.
