Warren Lee Naylor, Jr.

Warren Lee Naylor, Jr., 78, of King, NC, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at his home.

Mr. Naylor was born in Wood, WV, to the late Warren Lee Naylor, Sr. and Ruby Ann Wade Naylor. He retired from Quarles Propane. Warren was an evangelist of the Gospel. He loved working on cars and was an avid coin collector. He loved “racin, rasslin', and tools.”  He attended Freedom Baptist Church. Warren proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lenoma Boyer.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Mary Smith Naylor; two sons, Donald Lee Naylor (Sabrina Dawn) and Samuel Jason Naylor (Jennifer Lynn); a daughter, Brenda Lou Dailey (Howard); a sister, Nancy Shepherd; eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Slate Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at Slate Funeral Home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the Slate Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. John White officiating.
