Wayne Robert Mason

Winston-Salem, NC - Wayne Robert “Sharkey” Mason, 67, of Winston-Salem died Monday February 10, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center.

He was born November 7, 1952 to the late Robert Franklin and Mary Vivian Lewis Mason. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Neil Mason.

Surviving include his companion of 35 years; Sue Bowman, two brothers: Charles Mason and wife Nola, and Roger Mason and wife Patti, his sister Sharon Kling and husband Mickey.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 2:00 until 3:00pm at Slate Funeral Home in King. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00pm. Interment will take place at Boyles Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
