William "Spud" Michael Brown

William “Spud” Michael Brown, 63, of King, NC, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

William was born in Forsyth County, NC, on February 7, 1962, to the late John and Joan Tuttle Brown. He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. He was a good husband and Daddy and would help anyone at any time.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Candace Brown; his daughter, Cathy Brown (Daniel Rogers); sister, Kim George; two brothers, Scott Brown (Samantha), and Brian “Tic” Brown (Joy); and two grandchildren, Jayden Barr, and Kynleigh Rogers; nephews: Jonathan, Alex, Eli, and Ashton; and nieces: Lindsay, and Taylor.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Stoney Ridge Baptist Church. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. with Minister Donald Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
